PERSEPHONE BREWING CO.
The "Sour Series" is Persephone Brewing Co.' s ongoing exploration of fermentation's tart side. With evolving releases brewed according to s easoal ingredients and market trends, the call was for something conceptual, yet accessible with interchangeable elements.
Persephone’s Sour Series takes the consumer on an exploration of fermentation’s tart side. Using experimental ingredients and brewing techniques with a focus on providing a uniquely flavourful, sustainably made product, the Sour Series identity was conceptualized as an adventure from field and farm, across ocean to table.
As a B Corp enterprise set back in the stunningly beautiful Pacific Northwest woods of the Sunshine Coast seashore in British Columbia, Persephone Brewing Co. prioritizes their positive environmental impact and relationship to the land in practice and brand identity. Persephone can be recognized as a harvest goddess from antiquity, but Persephone Brewing Co. is also named for the log-salvaging ship in CBC’s 1970s TV show beachcombers. As a product for the adventerous consumer, this branding concept doubles-down on the idea of exploration: the intrepid flavours of each release, the beer farm namesake and the passage between it’s foundational geographic regions.
